Description
ELASTOSIL® E43 N TRANSPARENT is a one-component, non-slump to self-levelling RTV-1 silicone adhesive for food-related and industrial applications, which cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity to form a permanently elastic silicone rubber.

- Also available in: 310 ml cartridge
Applications
- Bonding and sealing of household and small appliances
- FIPG applications (Formed-In-Place Gaskets)
- Heating and cooling technology
- Mechanical engineering
- Compliant with BfR XV and FDA 21 CFR §175.300 and §177.2600 for food contact
- Adhesion to glass, ceramics, metals, plastics, and powder-coated surfaces

- UV, weather and heat resistant up to +180 °C
- Temperature resistant from -50 °C to +180 °C

- No inhibition of platinum-cured silicones
- Heat curing only for thin layers (<0.5 mm)

Processing Instructions
- Apply directly from cartridge – ready to use
- Cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity
- Optimal curing at 50 % RH and 23 °C
- Heat curing only for thin layers (<0.5 mm)
Removal
- Uncured: remove with white spirit or test benzine
- Cured: remove mechanically or with silicone remover
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in a cool and dry place
- Minimum shelf life: see batch label
