RS PRO T22 Purple Threadlocking Adhesive, 50 ml, 12 h Cure Time
Prevent your aluminium or brass screws from loosening with this RS PRO T22 anaerobic threadlocking adhesive. It will cure on metal surfaces where there’s a lack of oxygen, such as the small gaps on fastener threads.
This purple adhesive is a low-strength glue that keeps fasteners in place while allowing for adjustments to be made using hand tools – ideal for machinery that may need dismantling or adapting. It’s resistant to brake fluid, motor oil and petrol, so it’s suitable for use on automotive parts including gearboxes.
Use this threadlocking adhesive on countersunk screws, bolts and keyed fasteners. It comes in a handy applicator bottle, so it’s easier to target small thread gaps. Check your fasteners are free from grease and dust, then apply as much as you need to fill the gap. To speed up the cure time, use it with a suitable activator or accelerator.
