Description
Karl Deutsch KD-CHECK RDP-1 red crack detection spray allows non-destructive testing for surface cracks and pores, using the dye penetration test method.
Advantages
- Efficient testing with minimum effort: Only one spray of penetrant, cleaner (KD-Check PR-1) and developer (KD-Check SD-1) are required for successful testing.
- Reduced consumption: Low viscosity and optimum dripping properties lead to reduced test agent consumption
- Easy evaluation: Evaluation is carried out in normal daylight or under daylight lamps
- High test reliability: Strong contrast formation, sample tested according to DIN EN ISO 3452-2 and 3452-6, approved according to AREVA NP TLV 9017
Application
- Particularly suitable for construction sites, repairs, spot checks and series testing
- Suitable for almost all metallic and non-metallic material surfaces such as steel, aluminum, brass or plastics (Suitability for plastics must be checked beforehand)
- The red dye penetrant seeps into cracks by capillary action. The processing time (5 – 10 minutes) depends on the crack / pore geometry.
